Dear Mr Nobes,

Further to your July letter I write to mark my appreciation. Firstly I have been more than pleased with my new i10 in all ways but one, having covered 2,500 miles in four months.

The only exception has been the parking sensors which have been a source of puzzlement and concern. Accordingly I made contact and was very impressed by the way the matter was dealt with by Charlotte and Brian.

It is, I feel only right to give credit where it is due, and all is well.

Thank you for your letters on the 15th and 21stof October and for the box of delicious biscuits which arrived recently. My i10 is running well, thank you, and I am enjoying driving it.

May I reiterate how impressed I have been with the service you provide. Ever since I first saw the car in your showroom and did a test drive in one with Nick Fuller I could not have received better attention. Even when delivery was sadly delayed, Nick Fuller kept me in the picture regularly thereafter. Once again, thank you for the standard of service you and your team provide.

Dear Mr Nobes,

Earlier today my wife and I collected the new i30 which we purchased from you. As you know I traded in a Coupe in Part Exchange, so I have switched from a ‘boy racer’ image to something more respectable. It should now be easier for our serious friends to get in and out of the new car – no need to lift them into their seats anymore. Thank goodness!

This is the second car we have purchased from Richmond and, once again I must thank you, and compliment your company on the quality of the service we received. We were pleased to be helped by Sam Nobes who was very attentive to our needs and patient in responding to our questions. It was great to experience such a high standard of customer care.

Finally a brief thanks to you for your ingenious solution to the problem of agreeing a price for the vehicle. I am not sure that switching from a diesel to a petrol model improved my part of the deal, but it met my budget criteria and the essence of any good negotiation is that both parties should be happy with the final outcome – and we are pleased with our purchase.
